Ball flight - club face control
Club face control is the engine of ball flight—what the club does at impact sets start line and curve. In these videos we connect grip strength, wrist movements, and the Motorcycle rotation to face-to-path so you can square the clubface on time and manage rate of closure. Mastering face rotation and calibration (Start Line String, 9 Shot Drill, Impact Bag) means path for contact, face for control—straighter drivers, fewer slices and hooks, and cleaner contact.
- Two keys to face control: identify your closing pattern; match grip and wrist action (flexion/supination).
- Targeted drills: Start Line String, Alignment Stick Loading, Impact Bag, Sharpie face rotation.
- Driver cues: handle-forward vs release, rate of Motorcycle, trail-wrist connection.
